**Cover.** Five AI windows ran one night. Here is what broke. Six failures and the rules they produced. (11 to 14 Sep 2026, read 2026-10-11)

**Slide 2.** Break 1: five windows shared one git checkout. A bare commit after one `git add` swept two other windows' staged files under one hash.

**Slide 3.** Break 2: one session rate limit at 03:30 killed 3 of 11 sub-agents.

**Slide 4.** Break 3, data, one client site anonymised. 101 of 103 pages shared an opener with another city before the fix, 12 distinct first sentences, 0 of 103 after (read 2026-10-11).

**Slide 5.** Break 4, data. Four outages between July and September 2026, 671 videos dropped, longest outage 9 days, every job exit code 0 (read 2026-10-11).

**Slide 6.** Break 5: a 50 dollar top-up on 13 Sep 2026 was spent the same day by two windows. One quoted 31 from memory, a sibling window had dispatched 23. Real spend was 55.61 (read 2026-10-11).

**Slide 7.** Break 6: a canary file move in a shared drive returned a 403 until an admin toggle was changed.

**Slide 8.** Rules: pathspec commits and worktrees; monthly cap per vendor with no auto-reload; fail loud with a 429 not exit 0; one window dispatches backfills; read the ledger.
